Sunday Classes Next Term at Mapua to Compensate for the 10th Week?

After 6 days of creation, God rested on the 7th day but for Mapuans next term, "rest" would be out of the way!

Is that for real?
The first time I've heard it, I was in awe. What gave the admin the idea to hold the 10th week of the 2nd term during SUNDAYS? The 10-week phasing is already a "hell" to us, now it's gonna be a hell-er term. If everything was in the fast mode, now it'll be faster, approaching 3x10 to the 8 m/s (speed of light)

My perspective
Personally, I haven't experienced having a 7-day schedule at Mapua. Since 1st year (though there was NSTP during sundays), I'm making sure, I have a 1-day break for rest time (but actually, it won't be a rest time if you have requirements to submit) From what I've heard from others who had experienced having that kind-of-schedule, grrrr! so toxic! Imagine, waking up everyday, thinking about your homeworks, exams, reports. It's 7 days a week. Wow! give me a break!

Student activities
Going to the church I think would be more of an option to students because of this. It will be a challenge for us. Sunday is for the Lord. Even the Israelites were required to worship during sundays. Christians must then be a living example of an eager worshipper of the Lord. The harder it gets, the more fulfilling it is.

Balanced 2nd Term - Life
The 99% perspiration - 1% inspiration would be applicable here. Wise time management is a key. Eliminate unecessary activities as possible. Stay focused.

On October 19, we would be looking the clock on a different perspective! We would be facing our wrist watch on a higher level of thinking! Time would then be a more important dimension in the world we are living in!
